SAP B1 Implementation
To serve our customers better and increase efficiencies, Swagelok Alabama | Central & South Florida | West Tennessee is implementing a new business management system, SAP B1, on November 14, 2020.
This implementation is part of an enterprise-wide initiative that streamlines information at both Swagelok Corporate and Swagelok Sales and Service Centers around the globe. The new system will allow us to provide better insights to customers, including product availability, lead times, and deliveries, as well as proactive supply chain management - all leading to a better customer experience and partnership.
Although the impact of this system change should be minimal for our customers, we expect that our response times may be slower than normal in the initial weeks of implementation. We appreciate your understanding.
Business documents, such as quotes, orders, and invoices will change. The numbering convention for document reference numbers will be different moving forward, but any outstanding business document numbers can still be referenced. Check out a preview of what our new documents will look like:
On November 13th, we will not be able to process orders as our system will be switching over. However, we will remain open to answer calls and emails, provide pricing, and take orders. We will enter any orders taken on Friday into our system on Saturday. To prevent delayed delivery times on locally stocked items, please place your order by Thursday, November 12th at 11:00 AM CT.
