In order to safeguard our people, maintain social responsibility, and most importantly, service our customers, we have implemented some intentional changes over the coming weeks to best support you temporarily.

  1. Office pickups have been suspended. If you have an order that needs to be picked up, we are happy to ship it to you.
  2. Per recommendations from the CDC, we are practicing social distancing by reducing customer visits and vendor managed inventory trips.

We know our customers are just as impacted by this pandemic as we are. Please be assured that we will continue to maintain the quality of excellence our customers have come to expect throughout this situation.

 March 12, 2020:

Yesterday afternoon, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus (COVID-19) a global pandemic. Swagelok has been monitoring the coronavirus outbreak since early January and its possible impacts on our team members, operations, and communities.

Guided by our core values, we have and will continue to take actions that protect customer and team member health based on the best guidance available from WHO and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Due to our robust supply chain and manufacturing origins in the United States, we anticipate minimal disruption to our business.

Internally, we are increasing sanitizing efforts, encouraging social distancing measures, and training our team members on how to minimize contagion and recognize symptoms.

We are monitoring the situation and are assessing our business continuity plan. First and foremost, we are committed to maintaining the quality of excellence and service our customers have come to expect. We will identify contingency plans as the need arises to ensure we continue to service your needs.

The following are precautionary measures we are implementing as a result of the coronavirus spread:

  1. Onsite Visits: We have encouraged our Key Account Managers to use virtual communication when possible. You might notice a reduced presence onsite to limit potential exposure, but please know we will resume regular visits once the risk of transmission is lowered. Our team is available virtually via phone, email, text, and virtual webinars. Click here to view your Key Account Manager's contact information. If your company is restricting site access, please respond to this email and let us know so we can determine how to best support your needs virtually.
  2. Vendor Managed Inventories: Our current plan is to continue to service Vendor Managed Inventories. However, we will be monitoring the situation and could enforce a suspension in order to protect our team members and customers. For risk mitigation, we are happy to work with you on increasing stock levels to ensure you have needed products in stock. Again, if your company is restricting site access, please respond to this email and let us know so we can help you ensure you have the products you need.

We recognize that this pandemic not only affects our business, but yours as well. We are here to partner with you throughout any situation we might be facing. If there are ways we can support you differently during this time, we are happy to do so.

On behalf of our entire leadership team, thank you for your continued patience and flexibility as we put measures in place to protect our team members and yours. Please do not hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns.
