We have the capability to train your workforce in many areas from proper installation of a tube fitting to proper operation of an orbital welder. Led by Swagelok-certified trainers, participants will become more proficient and confident with the application, installation and maintenance of fluid control products and systems. We offer on-site training at our Birmingham and Tampa locations, as well as at customer sites.
Participants of Swagelok® training programs receive a Certificate of Completion and gain an advanced understanding of processes that can enhance workplace safety, reduce costs, eliminate mistakes, and improve system performance.

Tube Fitting Installation & Tube Bending Essentials Class: Discover the proper techniques for tube fitting installation, VCR, VCO, and weld fitting installation, tubing selection and handling as well as tube bending practices.
Tube Fitting Installation Class: Learn foundational tube fitting knowledge that ensures system integrity and minimizes leakage risks. The course covers proper tube selection, cutting, and deburring; assembly of a Swagelok® tube fitting; and gauging a tube fitting assembly.
Tube Fitting Inspection Class: Proper inspection is instrumental in mitigating and minimizing risk of leakage. This course will teach students to identify correct tube system placement, correctly install Swagelok® tube fittings, and troubleshoot other common fluid system mistakes.
Tube Bending Essentials Class: Bending tube helps to eliminate mechanical connections, which can be a source for leaks in traditional piping systems. In this course, Swagelok instructors cover the basics of tube bending.
Hose Essentials Class: Understanding the fundamentals helps to extend hose production cycles, ensure safety, and lower total cost of ownership. Instructors introduce common terminology, explain variables impacting hose selection, and show how to select hose for different applications. Coursework includes common practices for conducting hose inspections and best practices for preventive maintenance.
Swagelok Thread Identification Essentials: Learn how to distinguish between different types of threads and sealing methods.
Local Orbital Welder Training: Orbital welding provides repeatable excellence with each weld. This training provides instruction on the fundamentals and benefits of orbital welding. Learners gain knowledge on equipment setup and operation in order to use our Orbital Welder rental.
Factory Training:
Advanced Orbital Welder Training: This five-day Advanced Orbital Welding course that will train you to provide quality, repeatable welds with the most advanced tubing welding process available.
Sampling System Training: Swagelok's hands-on training helps you design effective sampling systems and diagnose and eliminate existing issues so you can increase efficiency and save money. Anyone who designs, constructs, operates or maintains sampling systems will gain valuable knowledge to enhance their operations.
